When I see something like this from Dior (John Galliano) Cruise 2009 (see Coutorture for photographs), I cannot but remember Issey Miyake, the King of Pleats himself. This particular assemblage with the pleated fan around the neck is eye catching... but on the whole this collection is no match for Miyake's latest - see below.
