Well Tuteluttan, thinking more about floral dresses... I went to have a look at Issey Miyake's website. There, I discovered an entirely different way of approaching flowers and dresses. Instead of printing flowers directly onto fabric, Miyake instead utilizes folds and pleats to set bodies into floral transformations... Through a kind of voluminous expressivity, Miyake's dresses and outfits make of these women hybrid flesh-fabric flowers.
Miyake's new 'cauliflower' line of T-shirts does in fact deploy floral prints, as is evident in the image below. I don't care too much for this particular range of clothing however.
