Marc Jacobs steals 1950s Swedish design

According to Sweden's The Local, Marc Jacobs very recently stole a Swede's design from 1950s for his own line of fashion products. Looking at the pictures, it certainly seems to be the case. I'm sick and tired of big companies ripping off the everyday creativity of the masses. Given how the fashion industry bleats on about counterfeits, I hope Olofsson sues Marc Jacobs for stealing his father's art. Incidentally, Olofsson should now release a line... I would buy one... they look funky!

Göran Olofsson remembers well the brightly coloured scarf created by his father Gösta in the 1950s. "I was very surprised when I saw the new scarf. It looks like a clear case of plagiarism," he told The Local.
